The Female Mentoring programme

MW firmly believe in the importance of sole female mentoring, as we feel it’s imperative that positive female role models are available to our young females to have access to a strong female role model to aid their development and guidance as they develop into young women.

MW have a pool of professional, experienced, and relatable female mentors. We aim to offer a mentor service for young females within a school environment, delivered by successful and professional women with experiences in a range of areas not only within a working environment but also having the experience of navigating through everyday life and the challenges and difficulties it brings.

The Ladies Programme

With the rise of social media and the magnifying glass over identity and sexuality, young girls are struggling with acceptance of self-image/worth; our programme reinforces self-esteem and provides the tools needed for progressive and positive self-visualisation. At MW we promote the importance of self-love and strength of one’s self with an emphasis on heightening independence and ensuring girls know their value. Additionally, we ensure an environment that is supportive and united in unison that girls have great power to be who they wish to be, have comfort in who they are now and evolve to become who they envision themselves to be.

Female Coaching & Development Programme

At MW we have a cohort of qualified female coaches to lead sessions for both male and females. In addition to this, we offer support around development for future female coaches. The cost of coaching is dependent on the situation and circumstance, and this is discussed on an individual basis. Everything we do is tailored to each individual.

Nutrition is one of the most undervalued aspects of health and well-being in society. Poor nutrition is one of the leading causes of obesity and medical conditions such as hypertension, coronary heart disease and diabetes alongside the rationale for poor performance in lessons for young people. This then contributes to poor concentration and application to work. MW Impact recognises this issue and puts a large emphasis on increasing awareness and acknowledgement amongst the community.

This programme addresses the following issues:

Importance of a balanced diet

Common causes of obesity

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Uses of nutrition within sport

Consequences of poor nutrition
